AI built around your business, not around a template.

I work one-on-one with small businesses and solopreneurs, learning how you operate before I build AI that fits.

About

If you keep hearing about AI and feeling like you're already behind, you're not.

You're right where most people are, and it's more approachable than anyone's making it sound.

I'm Everett. I help small businesses and solopreneurs put AI to work in a way that fits how they already run things. It's just me, no handoffs, no templated build, and I learn how you operate before I build anything.

My background's in Media Studies, not code, so I build systems around how you think and work, not how a textbook says one should look, and the good ones leave you more capable than they found you. Sometimes I build it for you, sometimes I teach you to build it yourself. Either way it's yours to run, and you'll know exactly how it works.

Most of the people I work with weren't sure any of this was for them when we started. Here's some of what we built together.

Recent Projects

Embedded AI Partner Wellness & Education Brand

Project Operations Dashboard

Friction: Executives were finding out about departmental decisions after they'd already happened, and staying current on project status meant chasing down whoever had the update.

Build: A shared dashboard logging every project and its status, pulling automatically from marketing data and class schedules, with a weekly digest instead of hunting people down.

Result: Real hours back every week, no more chasing status updates.

AI Infrastructure Marketing Agency

AI Operations Hub

Friction: Recurring work like pulling data and sending client updates kept slipping, because none of it happened unless someone remembered to sit down and run it themselves.

Build: An always-on system wired into their existing tools that handles that recurring work on its own schedule, without anyone having to trigger it.

Result: Hours of manual, recurring work now happen automatically, done before anyone's even at their desk.

Content Pipeline Marketing Agency

Podcast Content Pipeline

Friction: Turning raw recordings into platform-ready content was costing hours of manual post-production work per episode.

Build: An automated pipeline that parses transcripts and generates show notes, descriptions, and captions.

Result: What used to take hours now takes about ten minutes.

Full-Stack Development Marketing Consultant

Marketing Assessment Platform

Friction: Vetting and onboarding entry-level prospects was a manual bottleneck, limiting how much high-touch agency work could actually get taken on.

Build: A custom Next.js application, powered by Claude, that runs prospects through an automated diagnostic and generates a personalized action plan.

Result: A fully automated lead-qualification engine that handles initial client assessments 24/7, without requiring a single minute of the consultant's time.

"He's young, genuinely curious, and willing to dive into all the nooks and crannies I don't have the tinkering time for anymore. Everett is one of those people I hire because they're better than me at the things that aren't in my zone."

Productized Service One-Time Build

The Business Brain

A workspace that knows your business the way you do, and writes and talks the way you do. Built once, handed off in the tool you already use. Answer a customer email, explain your policy, draft a post, all without starting from a blank page every time.

What you get

  • A short discovery conversation about how your business actually runs.
  • A voice and knowledge workspace built around that.
  • A walkthrough on making small updates yourself.
Result

I built one for myself, it's what's running behind everything I put out. I built one for Eden Method almost two years ago. It's still replying to their customer comments today, about an hour a day across 400,000-plus followers.

One time build, yours to keep.

Custom Builds

AI infrastructure, automations, and full-stack applications built to your specific situation. Most wrap in a few weeks, and scope and pricing follow the conversation.

Workshops

Build it yourself, with me in the room.

Some people would rather learn to build it themselves, and I love teaching that. I run custom AI workshops for small business owners, where a room builds something real from scratch in a single session, set up around their own businesses instead of a generic template. At one session, an attendee built a post live in the room that became one of her best-performing pieces that month. I bring these to teams, studios, and communities on request.

How I Work

For custom builds, here's how the engagement runs.

Discovery

We start with a focused conversation about what's costing you time. I map your workflows, identify the friction, and come back with a clear plan, not a sales pitch.

  • Workflow Mapping
  • Bottleneck Analysis
  • Prioritized Roadmap
Week 1

Build

I build the system while you stay focused on your work. Regular check-ins, no black boxes. You'll see exactly what's being created and why.

  • Custom Automations
  • AI Integrations
  • Progress Updates
Weeks 2–3

Handoff

You get the system, the documentation, and full transparency into how it works. For project-based engagements, it's yours to run. For retainer work, I stay involved to keep it sharp.

  • Full Documentation
  • Training Session
  • 30-Day Support

Questions people ask before starting

It depends on scope. The Business Brain, my productized offering, starts at $1,000 and is a one-time build. Custom projects are quoted per project after a short discovery conversation. There is no long enterprise contract and no per-seat software to buy on top.

If you keep hearing about AI and feel behind, you are not. Most people I work with felt the same at the start. The first step is a conversation about how you actually work, then picking one or two high-return uses and building those first, rather than a large AI transformation.

It starts with discovery: I learn how you operate and find the one or two places AI pays off fastest. Then I build those, connected to the tools you already use. Then handoff: you get something you own and know how to run, not a black box you depend on me for.

Yes. That is the point. I build on tools and accounts you control, and either hand over a system you operate yourself or teach you to build it. The goal is to leave you more capable than I found you, not dependent on me.

I'm based in Portland, Oregon and work with businesses across the Pacific Northwest and remotely with clients anywhere in the US.

Let's figure out what you need.

Most projects start with a 20-minute conversation.
